Las Vegas Weekly: KORN Fail To Do Anything New In Nine Years
July 13, 2003Josh Bell of the Las Vegas Weekly reviewed KORN's concert at Rain in the Desert on July 7. "The set was brief and hit-packed, a slight extension of the set the band has been playing on Ozzfest," Bell wrote. "KORN blazed through radio tunes from 'Blind' to 'Here to Stay' and 'Thoughtless', both off the band's recent 'Untouchables'. With barely a word from Davis, it was a little like listening to a 'Korn Kompilation' CD, and the way the songs blended together proved that while KORN may have nearly invented nu-metal, they haven't exactly taken it anywhere new in the last nine years."
